How to Use Telemedicine
Our virtual vet consultations take place through our telemedicine app, [telemed app]. To get started, follow these steps:
Download our app through the Apple Store or Google Play on your phone. You can also access [telemed app] on your tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
Follow the prompts to create an account and then connect with our animal hospital.
Once you’re set up, you can request a consultation with one of our specialists. We’ll set up a time that works for both you and your veterinarian.
When is it Appropriate to Use Telemedicine?
As a specialty veterinarian, many of our more advanced and complex services can only be performed in our veterinary hospital. However, there are instances where telemedicine can be very useful, and even preferable to a hospital visit.
Appropriate times to use telemedicine include:
- Post-op follow-up appointment
- Recheck appointment following treatment
- Ongoing check-ins for recovering patients
