Dr. Elizabeth (Lizzy) Snyder received her undergraduate degree in English at Villanova University. Prior to pursuing veterinary medicine, Dr. Snyder worked at a media agency in New York City after college. After adopting her first cat, Dr. Snyder’s love for animals and people led her to the veterinary field where she found her passion. Dr. Snyder completed her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2021 and was awarded the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Small Animal Certificate of Clinical Excellence. Following veterinary school, she remained at PennVet to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. She worked as an Emergency Veterinarian in Philadelphia for one year prior to returning to PennVet to complete a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Her special interests include feline medicine, nutrition, and kidney disease. Outside of work, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her partner and their cats, practicing hot yoga, and skiing with her two brothers.
