Liz brings a dynamic background and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine to her role in Diagnostic Imaging at Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists. She earned her BS from the University of Delaware in 2003 and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2006. She later pursued an AS in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Delaware Technical and Community College in 2013. Liz holds a Veterinary Technician Specialty in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS ECC), earned in 2016, and is currently working toward a second VTS in Diagnostic Imaging, with plans to achieve certification in 2026. Liz is also Fear Free and Recover Certified.
Her path into veterinary medicine was anything but ordinary. Liz began her career in the field in 2003, took a detour into human medicine in 2013, and quickly realized she was meant to work with animals. She returned to veterinary care with renewed commitment and has since found her stride blending the intensity of Emergency and Critical Care with the structured, methodical pace of Radiology. For Liz, Pinnacle offers the perfect balance of both.
Liz lives in Maryland with her husband and their two children. They share their home with Beans, a seven-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix whose sweet, affectionate nature has earned a flawless reputation. Outside of work, Liz finds peace in the garden and a good laugh in just about any Will Ferrell movie. One of the most meaningful parts of her career today is mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals and sharing the knowledge she’s gained over the years.
