Dr. Stephanie Doroshuk has been drawn to veterinary medicine for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a small town in Alberta, Canada, she felt a natural connection to animals and always imagined a future where she could help them. That childhood dream guided her through high school and undergraduate studies, and ultimately led her to earn her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
As an emergency veterinarian, Dr. Doroshuk finds the most fulfillment in providing care during some of the most challenging moments pet owners face. She’s currently expanding her clinical skills by pursuing a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) in Emergency Medicine and Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Doroshuk enjoys exploring new places, whether it’s hiking a local trail, trying a new restaurant, or traveling to another country. She also enjoys reading, watching movies, and gardening. At home, she shares her life with two beloved cats, Juniper and Gooseberry, a Domestic shorthair brother-and-sister duo.
